Meet Wielz
I’m Michael Wieland (AKA Wielz), I have had a passion for drawing since I was a kid. I was a shy kid who used to daydream and draw my summer holidays away. This became a great hobby of mine all the way into adult life and I have always aspired to create art that people would enjoy and hopefully inspire people to create art of their own. At the moment I have many ideas and pieces of art that I’m working on.
I’m fuelled in my ideas by the many great things I see in daily life, nature and human made marvels, I’m passionate about drawing and including people, no matter what their skills are, into the art world as even though I see art as a skill , I believe that anyone can create a piece of art in their own way and practice makes you better. I would love to include others in my pieces of work (something which is in the early stages for a future project).
It is my aim to create art with others as much as I can in-between creating my own projects. I believe that owning a piece of work that you have either been directly involved in or have contributed to makes the whole piece of art more personal and gives you something to be proud of owning.
If you think you’re not an artist (skilled enough to be one or creative enough) , I hope to show that even a small idea that you have can inspire and contribute to a piece of art and that should in itself make you proud and show that you are in-fact creative and artistic in your own way.
About Wielz Walrus's Project
Wielz Walrus’s (Yes it should be Wielz Walruses but the walruses prefer the other way) are a collection of 20,000 NFTs which are all unique digital artwork on the digital ethereum blockchain. 15,000 will be given to members to the site and 5,000 will be held back for prizes and giveaways and future events. There will be another release of walrus’s in the future but for now their identities are hidden, a few special editions will be released in the meantime and some specially created ones for collaborators. These will expand the community and will promote it which will hopefully benefit us all.
If you are not a member you will be able to visit the Walrus’s page which shows the walrus’s that are available and what have been sold, you will also be able to see the Ice Map (commonly known as a roadmap in the NFT community) this shows the key events that will happen.
Members will have access to the pages above as-well as a Community page which will be a forum so you can chat and engage in the future of the walruses with fellow Walrus members. It will also have a Fun and Games page which will include a variety of fun and games which will open up at different parts of the Ice Map ( a number of which will be contests that will be engaging as well as challenging with prizes for the winners) Prizes will be both physical and digital with some contest giving a choice from a selection of prizes.
The idea of this project is to collaborate with different creatives and helping them start up as well as rewarding the holders of the NFTs with different benefits from these different creatives and mediums, be that digital or real life rewards. These will be revealed to members as time go by, some of which are already revealed. So the membership to this site doesn’t just gives you a NFT but also gives you access to exclusive content, fun games/contests and a great community with a lot of creative walruses (You).
Holding or buying a Wielz Walrus NFT in this collection doesn’t give you membership to the walrus website. However in the future being a Wielz Walrus NFT holder will give you exclusive gifts.
There will be a limited amount of members to the website and once the limit hits, the site will close to new members. This is intended to be a long term investment with a Ice Map that shows the future of the project so far which will hopefully expand. The project will be given two years if unsuccessful and the first Ice Map will complete but if the project is successful it will continue and expand and benefit members for many more years.
Becoming a member to this website will give you a free NFT but will require you to share your email on signup for communication reasons so you can receive your NFT, it also requires you to have a digital wallet (don’t worry if you don’t have one or don’t know how i will have information on the site how to get one)
